All of the following views are from our unit 129. The beach runs 5 miles! GREAT for walking , swimming, and just plain hanging out. Snorkeling out front can be amazing, especially in the quiet morning hours. Hawks bill turtles are a common sight year round. You can expect to see the mighty Humpback whales enjoying their Maui playground from November - April.

Sugar Beach Activities
Sugar Beach stretches 5-miles! It really is a GREAT beach for walking, swimming, and snorkeling in the calm morning hours. During winter and spring months you will find Maalaea Bay home to the Humpback whales. They will put on a show for you daily! Sugar Beach finds many people enjoying a variety of ocean activities including kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, kite surfing, and fishing right from the shore.
